- Choose a photo you already have. The face should be front-facing, evenly lit and neutral, with no sunglasses or hat. It does not need to be a close-up or have a plain background.
- Upload it here. We find the face, isolate it from the rest of the image and whiten the background.
- If needed, drag the image and use zoom until the head sits between the two orange lines.
- Download the individual photo or the 10×15 cm sheet, ready to print at a shop or at home.
The 10×15 cm sheet: several photos in one image
The "10×15 cm sheet" button generates a single image the size of a regular print, with the same photo repeated and cut lines between each one. Print it at 100% at a lab, kiosk or photo printer and cut.

Before using it on an official document
This site helps you frame and prepare the photo, but does not guarantee the entity will accept it. Rules (head size, background, expression) vary by document and can change. Always confirm the requirements with the entity requesting it.
For printing: use photo paper, print at 100% (do not "fit to page") and cut along the grey lines.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Face detection and background removal run in your browser. The photo never leaves your device.
Can I use a photo showing my full body or a street in the background?
Yes. The tool looks for the face in the image, crops around it and replaces the background with white. All you need is a visible, front-facing face.
How many photos fit on the print sheet?
A 10×15 cm sheet fits 8 photos at 35×45 mm, 9 at 3×4 cm, 4 at 4×5 cm, or 2 at 51×51 mm.
What if there are several people in the photo?
Use a photo with one person. With several faces, the tool picks one and it may not be the one you want; in that case drag the image to adjust.
Can I use a photo taken with my phone?
Yes. Use the rear camera if you can, with the face well lit and the phone at eye level. Avoid close-up selfies, which distort the face.
The background didn't come out right. What now?
Automatic removal works best with a plain, light background and no shadows. If there are leftovers, take another photo against a white wall, or turn off the white background option and use a photo already shot against a plain background.
What format do I download?
JPG, at 300 dpi. If the portal limits file size, pick a maximum size (for example 100 KB) and the file is adjusted.
