FotoDocWhat IMT asks for, according to the manual
- Documents scanned as PDF, maximum 2 MB.
- One document per file upload.
- Your identity document (or residence permit) and your driving licence, both front and back.
- The platform detects duplicate documents even under different file names: add each document only once.

How to prepare each PDF
- Photograph the front and back of the document in good light with all four corners visible.
- Choose both images above and order them (front first).
- The limit is already set to 2 MB. Click Create PDF.
- Repeat for the other document and upload each PDF in its own field.
For text-only documents the black and white option shrinks the file a lot. For a driving licence with a photo, leave colour on.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens on your phone or computer.
Do front and back go in the same PDF?
Yes: each document is one PDF with both pages. The IMT manual asks for front and back of the identity document and of the licence.
The PDF is still over 2 MB. Now what?
The tool warns you when it cannot meet the limit without making the text unreadable. Try black and white, or photograph at a lower resolution.
Does this replace the IMT instructions?
No. It is only technical help with file size. Always follow the instructions on the IMT platform.
