- Photograph or scan each document in good light, on a flat surface, with all four corners visible.
- Choose the images above. If the document has a front and a back, choose both: they go in the same PDF, in order.
- The limit is already set to 1 MB. Click Create PDF.
- Upload the PDF to the portal. Make one PDF per document.
Tips to keep it readable and small
- For text-only documents tick black and white: the file gets much smaller.
- If it is still over the limit, use fewer pages per PDF or split the document, if the portal allows it.
- We never shrink pages below a size where the text becomes unreadable. If the limit cannot be met, the tool tells you.
- Check on the portal's upload screen which file formats are accepted. We did not find that on an official page.
